Construction Management

The Division of Construction Management estimates construction costs, contracts advertising, awards construction and purchasing contracts, and pre-qualifies contractors. Its responsibilities provide support, guidance and advice for the administration and construction of safe, high-quality infrastructure while minimizing construction time, costs, delays and litigation. The division's offices include:
- Construction Administration: Construction project monitoring, specifications, and administration
- Contract Sales: Contract processing, vendor purchasing, and pre-qualification
- Estimating: Bid estimation and analysis, economic analysis, and project funding management
- Materials Management: Construction material inspections
- Alternative Project Delivery: Management of design-build projects
- Outdoor Advertising Device Control: Coordination of advertising permits along state-maintained routes
