Media Resources

View media contacts and public information officers for your region of Ohio and access helpful ODOT resources for your story.

spacerWe value our media partners and want to provide you with resources to help you develop your stories relating to Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) projects and activities. This media page is meant to help you do that. If there's anything beyond what is featured here that would help you, please reach out to any of the public information staff in your region of Ohio.

Public information officers located around the state are dedicated to providing timely and accurate information about the latest ODOT news and initiatives. While the department operates locally through 12 district offices, public information staff have been grouped by region for easier access.

To request information for a news and trade publication story, please begin with your local public information staff. For local public information contacts, please click on your region on the map or see the breakdown below.

Additionally, some ODOT resources are publicly on-demand, including photographs, brand assets, and b-roll video footage. Use the cards at the bottom of this page to access them.

Special notices about snow and ice coverage

  • Going live from an ODOT facility: We will work with you to accommodate your request to go live from an ODOT garage; however, you MUST contact a member of the PIO staff before visiting any ODOT facilities. We need to be aware of any visitors at our facilities for safety and security reasons.
  • Planning ahead: Please keep in mind that our ODOT garages typically close between 3:30 and 4 p.m. unless we’re in the middle of an ice and snow event. So, if we’re expecting snow tomorrow morning, any interviews and/or preview footage needs to be captured prior to 3:30 p.m. We may not be able to accommodate requests for b-roll after 5 p.m. when our garages are closed.
  • Ride-alongs in plow trucks: Due to the current health situation, we will NOT be able to accommodate requests for ride-alongs this year.
