Warren County (Wednesday, June 22, 2022) – A project to replace two culverts on state Route 122 at Bull Run and east of Springboro Road is scheduled to begin, requiring a 30-day closure of the route beginning early next month.
On Tuesday, July 5, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close S.R. 122 between S.R. 48 and S.R. 741 to replace culverts at the 6.34 and 6.36-mile markers.
The closure will be in effect through Aug. 4, and while S.R. 122 is closed, traffic will be detoured via S.R. 122, S.R. 48, S.R. 73 and S.R. 741. Springboro Road will also be closed at the intersection with S.R. 122, and motorists may detour by way of Pekin Road to either S.R. 741 or S.R. 48. All work is contingent upon the weather.
Axis Civil Construction, LLC was awarded a contract in the amount of $279,351 to complete the project.
