ODOT Email Updates

odot-regionsNews releases, construction updates, job postings, event notifications, outreach opportunities, and more from the Ohio Department of Transportation can be sent directly to your inbox through GovDelivery, an email communication system. Click the green LAUNCH button to access GovDelivery and use the instructions below to sign up for ODOT email communication or modify existing subscriptions.

Email preferences can be customized by topic, region, and/or county and can be adjusted at any time. Refer to the map to the right to determine your region of the state for the most relevant email communication.

Note: Emails will be sent from an automated email address, OhioTransportation@info.dot.ohio.gov. Please be sure this email address is not blocked or marked as spam in your inbox.

New Subscriber

  1. Visit GovDelivery and input your email address to get started.
  2. Follow the prompts to agree to terms and conditions, and choose your preferred delivery method:
    1. Immediately: Each email will be delivered as soon as it is sent.
    2. Daily: All ODOT emails will be compiled and delivered to your inbox once daily.
    3. Weekly: All ODOT emails will be compiled and delivered to your inbox once weekly.
  3. Next, choose the topics for which you'd like to receive email updates. Choose your regional area and/or ODOT programs for now, and you can further specify county-level preferences in the next step.
    1. Construction updates, press releases, public meeting notifications, and job posting alerts are sent regularly from our regional district offices around the state. Choose these categories under the regions where you live, work, and travel. For more information on those releases, please contact the originating district.
    2. GovDelivery email notifications are also available in this listing from the Ohio Rail Development Commission, DriveOhio, the Ohio Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Center,  ODOT's Offices of Outreach and Equal Opportunity. For more information on those communications, please contact the originating office.
    3. Next, if prompted, choose the counties within your region(s) for which you'd like to receive communication.
    4. Click submit.
  4. You will receive an email notification to confirm your subscription. Please click the link provided in the email to confirm your subscription and begin receiving emails from ODOT.

Existing Subscriber

  1. Visit GovDelivery and input your email address to get started.
  2. On the next screen, click the blue subscriber preferences link.
  3. Use the following tabs to change your subscription settings:
    1. Subscriptions: Add or delete topics from your subscription.
    2. Preferences: Change your email address.
    3. Questions: Adjust county-level customization.
