The following construction projects are anticipated to affect state highways in Montgomery County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Interstate 75 Projects
Interstate 75 Reconstruction – I-75 will be reconstructed between S.R. 725 and U.S. 35. I-75 will experience major reconstruction including a traffic pattern shift, ramp closures, and lane restrictions in each direction. This project includes new pavement, storm sewers, lighting, and minor bridge repairs. Estimated completion: Summer 2025. Visit the project page for more information.
NEW IMPACT:
Interstate 75-South Ramp Closures – Expect intermittent nightly ramp closures for I-75 South, as needed, between S. Dixie Dr. and US-35, from 10 p.m.- 5 a.m. from Thursday, March 30 to Wednesday, April 4.
Interstate 75-North Ramp Closures – Expect intermittent nightly ramp closures for I-75 North, as needed, between S. Dixie Dr. and US-35, from 7 p.m.- 7 a.m. from Wednesday, April 4 to Friday, April 14.
CONTINUING IMPACT:
Interstate 75 Lane Closures – Expect multiple lane closures on I-75 in each direction from Sunday, March 26 to Friday, April 21. Lane closures will be nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. During this time crews will be working to shift one lane of northbound traffic onto the southbound side of I-75. This new traffic pattern will allow three lanes of traffic in each direction.
Dryden Road Ramp Closure – The Ramp from Dryden Road to I-75 North will be closed from Monday, April 3 through July 2025. This closure is necessary to reconstruct I-75 in this area.

U.S. 35 Projects
CONTINUING IMPACTS:
Woodman Dr. Bridge Work – Expect various lane closures in each direction on Woodman Drive between Kolmar Avenue and Burkhardt Road from Monday, March 6th through Friday, March 24th between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Crews are working on a bridge in that area.
Woodman Dr. Interchange Reconfiguration – Expect lane closures in each direction of Woodman Drive between Kolmar Ave. and Burkhardt Rd. from Monday, March 27th to Saturday, October 14th. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Crews will be reconfiguring the interchange and rehabilitating a bridge.
NEW IMPACT:

Olentangy Dr. Bridge Replacement – Olentangy Dr. will be closed between Bayside Dr. and Barrett Dr. from Monday, April 10th to Sunday, July 9th. Crews are replacing a bridge.

NEW IMPACT:
West Springfield Street Roadway Improvements – West Springfield Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction Monday, April 3 to Friday, September 1 between Harshman Ave. and Smithville Rd. Crews will be making roadway and drainage improvements.
