Transportation & Economic Development

Major Programs, including TRAC, Ellis, STIP, Jobs & Commerce, and Highway Safety comprise Transportation & Economic Development (formerly Program Management).

Transportation & Economic Development staff perform statewide condition and needs analyses, including safety data, on Ohio's road network while managing ODOT's capital programs in a fiscally responsible manner to ensure the best use of taxpayer's dollars on Ohio's transportation system.

Projects, like work being done on I-70 pictured above, require years of planning, millions of dollars in funding and attention from dedicated ODOT staff willing to focus on the details that go into the planning process years before the finished result.
