About the project
The project will resurface I-675 between the Montgomery County line and North Fairfield Road in Greene County. Additionally, the project will rehabilitate bridges along I-675 on the mainline, as well as overpasses located within the construction zone between the Montgomery County line and the Clark County line.
Major Traffic Impacts
In addition to single and double-lane restrictions in effect in either direction at varying times during the project, the following long-term impacts are currently in place:
I-675 Southbound - A contraflow lane is now open for southbound motorists on the northbound side of I-675.
U.S. 35 - The ramp from eastbound U.S. 35 to southbound I-675 is closed for up to 130-days, through mid-October. Traffic is being detoured by way of Research Boulevard, North Fairfield Road and westbound U.S. 35. (A detour map is below.)
C.R. 21 (Feedwire Road) - Feedwire Road is closed over I-675 for parapet wall and fence repair. Traffic is being detoured via Clyo Road and Wilmington Pike. The closure will be in effect until early July 2020.
C.R. 140 (Wagner Road) - Single-lane restriction over I-675, between Wayside and Oleva drives. Traffic is being maintained by temporary signals, and the restrictions are anticipated to be in effect through late July 2020.
