LPA Construction Contract Administration

ODOT manages contractual agreements with local public agencies (LPAs) to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) empowers the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to enter into a contractual agreement with Local Public Agencies (LPA's) who request to administer activities on Federal-aid projects. ODOT is ultimately responsible and must assure local compliance with all Federal and State laws, regulations and policies.
