ODOT Seeks Comments for Bridge Replacement on US Route 250 in Wayne County
WAYNE COUNTY (Wednesday, March 25, 2020) The proposed project is a bridge replacement of a structure over an unnamed tributary to Apple Creek on State Route 250 at mile marker 17.27. The existing structure is a concrete slab bridge with concrete capped substructure that was built in 1956. The proposed structure is a three-span cast-in-place slab with concrete capped pile substructure, built on existing alignment. In order for the project to be completed new permanent right-of-way will need to be acquired from the southeast corner of the project area.
The bridge will remain open with part width construction utilizing temporary signals throughout construction. During construction all 3 driveways within the project area will be maintained with no access restrictions.
Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2024, and last approximately 180 days.
