Greene County (Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021) – Due to additional culvert replacement work, the completion date is rescheduled to Friday, Nov. 5.
A culvert replacement on state Route 72 in Greene County will require lane restrictions and closure of a local road for up to five days next week.
During the week of Oct. 25, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Green County maintenance facility will be replacing a culvert on S.R. 72 at the route's junction with S. River Road at the village of Clifton.
Throughout the week, S.R. 72 will remain open, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed. However, S. River Road will be closed through Friday, Nov. 5, and motorists will be detoured via Rife Road, Cortsville Road, Fishworm Road and U.S. 42.
