Greene County S.R. 72 Culvert Replacement Project Scheduled Next Week 09 30 21

Greene County (Thursday, September 30, 2021) – Following a culvert replacement project on state Route 72 near Cedarville this week, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Green County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a second project next week, and the route will be closed throughout the week.

S.R. 72 has been reopened today, September 30, at the 16.70-mile marker, and on Monday, October 4, crews will close the route between Varsity Drive at Cedarville and Fishworm Road at Clifton to replace a culvert at the 16.81-mile marker.

The closure will go into effect at approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday and remain in effect through Friday, October 8. While S.R. 72 is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of U.S. 42, U.S. 68 in Xenia and S.R. 343.
