State Route 9 upcoming daytime closures: Beginning Monday, November 2, SR 9 will close 5 miles south of Salem during daytime hours for tree trimming work. This work will take place Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Detour: SR 172 east to U.S. 30, U.S. 0 east to SR 45, SR 45 north back to SR 9, and reverse. Completion date: November 13, 2020.
U.S. Route 30 resurfacing project: Resurfacing of U.S. Route 30 from SR 7/SR 267 to SR 170. During this work, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Completion date: October 31, 2020.
U.S. 30 intersection improvement in Lisbon: Project includes traffic signal upgrades at the following intersections along U.S. 30: at Beaver St., Market St., Jefferson St., N. Park Ave, SR 154. Traffic maintained via flaggers. Completion date: October 31, 2020.
State Route 7 resurfacing near Wellsville: Project includes the resurfacing of 7 miles of SR 7 from Stratton to Wellsville. During this work, one lane of traffic maintained in each direction with a 15' width restriction. Completion date: June 30, 2020.
State Route 7 bridge replacement: Project includes the replacement of a bridge located east of Columbiana between SR 14 and Metz Road. Traffic maintained via temporary traffic signals and 11-foot width restriction. Completion date: June 30, 2021
Multiple Columbiana County routes to be resurfaced: Project includes the resurfacing of multiple routes including SR 45 in Salem from Township Road 410 to U.S. Route 62, SR 558 from SR 45 to SR 517, and SR 9 from the Carroll/Columbiana County line to U.S. Route 30.
Safety project in East Palestine: This project includes the installation of pavement markings, traffic signal upgrades, and pedestrian signal upgrades. Traffic maintained via flaggers when necessary. Completion date: September 30, 2020
State Route 45 restricted for landslide repair work: SR 45 restricted to one lane of traffic between Zacharias Road and Pleasant Valley Road for a slide repair project. Traffic maintained via temporary traffic signals. Completion date: September 30, 2020.
