Trumbull County (Thursday, September 24, 2020) – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Trumbull County next week. All scheduled work is weather permitting.
Interstate 80 spot paving in Vienna & Hubbard Townships
NEW IMPACT – On Monday, September 28, I-80 between Mt. Everett Rd. and the Pennsylvania State line will have various daily lane restrictions through Thursday, October 1.
State Routes 5 & 88 resurfacing, in Bazetta, Mecca & Johnston Townships
The following routes have various lane restrictions:
• State Route 5 from the northern Cortland Corporation limit to the eastern junction of State Route 305
• State Route 88 from State Route 46 to State Route 5.
Estimated completion, late September 2020.
State Route 11 catch basin repairs in Vienna & Fowler Townships
State Route 11 northbound between State Route 82 and State Route 305 is reduced to one lane through mid-October 2020.
State Route 88 erosion repairs, Mecca Township
NEW IMPACT –The southern fishing platform and parking lot at the State Route 88 causeway over Mosquito Lake is closed through late October.
State Route 305 culvert in Fowler Township
State Route 305 between State Route 193 and Sodom Hutchinson Rd. is closed through early October for a culvert replacement. The detour is State Route 193 to State Route 82 to State Route 7.
Bedford Rd. widening, Brookfield Township
Bedford Rd. southbound between U.S. 62 and Stewart Sharon Rd. is CLOSED through early October. The detour is Stewart Sharon Rd. to Thomas Hubbard Rd. to U.S. 62. Estimated completion, late October 2020.
Myron St. bridge replacement, Hubbard
Myron St., just west of U.S. 62/State Route 7 is closed through mid-November for a bridge replacement. The detour is Main St. to W. Liberty St. to Caroline Ave. Estimated completion, December 2020.
