The Office of Environmental Services is responsible for providing education, training, technical expertise, and procedure development for ODOT to achieve a safe, efficient and environmentally compliant transportation system. OES achieves its goals through the dedicated work of staff who monitor and implement environmental laws, rules and regulations through ODOT's environmental, design, construction and maintenance programs.
Develop and implement standard procedures for integrating environmental compliance into all operations within ODOT.
Efficiently and effectively guide transportation projects through ODOT's project development process by ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Educate and train ODOT personnel, consultants, and the public on the state and federal environmental requirements and ODOT-specific procedures to meet those requirements for transportation projects.
