US 20A Improvements, Fulton County

In Delta, Ohio ODOT’s Office of Jobs & Commerce assisted a company with transportation infrastructure to improve their productivity. The Fulton County Engineer received a Jobs & Commerce Economic Development Grant from ODOT for the widening of US20A and construction of turn lanes for improved access. The transportation investment allowed for the company to accommodate more truck traffic and maintain their market competitiveness. The Jobs & Commerce investment supported the creation of 90 new jobs and the retention of 397 jobs in the advanced manufacturing industries.  

ODOT’s Jobs & Commerce is focused on providing transportation infrastructure investments that support job creation, job retention and economic development opportunities. The Office of Jobs & Commerce engages businesses and local communities to understand their transportation infrastructure needs while collaborating with local economic development professionals such as Jobs Ohio and the Ohio Department of Development to provide solutions.
