SR 115 slope repair and culvert replacement
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order 11988, is seeking public comments regarding this project.
ODOT is proposing to repair the slope along Sugar Creek on the east side of State Route 115 at mile marker 1.12 (approximately 1.25 miles north of the City of Lima). Additionally, a culvert for drainage under State Route 115 at the same location will be replaced. Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closures. Vehicular traffic will be detoured. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
Construction is anticipated to occur in the summer of 2023.
Work at this location will occur in a regulated floodplain. Impacts to this floodplain are anticipated to be minor and result in no rise in localized flood levels. A statement of findings detailing the results of the final floodplain analysis will be made available and posted to this webpage: Environmental Documents and map of project area.
