About the project

The $31 million construction project includes 1.6 miles of resurfacing on Interstate 275 between approximately Four-Mile Road and the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. it also includes the rehabilitation of four twin structures: At Four-Mile Road, at Sutton Road, at Kellogg Avenue, and the Combs-Hehl Bridge over the Ohio River.

Preliminary work on the project began May 14 with various shoulder closures on I-275 between Four Mile Road and Kellogg Avenue to construct temporary lighting and pavement. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2020.

The project will also utilize a contraflow configuration that begins on the Kentucky side of the Combs-Hehl Bridge and ends near Sutton Road in Ohio.

Current traffic impacts

I-75 will experience temporary single lane closures throughout the work zone. All lane closures will not occur until two hours after any events at Riverbend Music Center. For current traffic impacts, visit OHGO.com.

Commercial traffic is restricted to 10 feet in width, 75 feet in overall length, and weight of 120,000 pounds.
