SR 619 widening
About the project
This $10 million project will widen state Route 619 through portions of Lake Township and the village of Hartville, between Kaufman Avenue and Milan Avenue. It will include:
- Widening of state Route 619 from its current two lane condition to five lanes, which will include two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane.
- Addition of new turn lanes at some intersections and construction of roundabouts at the state 619 and Kings Church Avenue intersection and the state Route 619 and Kaufman Avenue intersection.
- Drainage repairs, new sidewalks and new signals.
The project will be built in two sections. The west end of the project, spanning from Hoover Avenue to just west of the Comfort Suites hotel, will be built first; the east end of the project, from just west of the Comfort Suites hotel to east of Milan Avenue, will follow.
Work is expected to continue through July 2020.
