As part of the Far East Freeway set of projects, this project will upgrade the interchanges of I-70/I-270/Brice Road along I-70 eastbound in Columbus to improvement safety. Work will include:
- New directional ramp from I-270 southbound to I-70 eastbound (to replace exiting loop ramp)
- Reconfigure ramps from I-270 north to I-70 east to Brice Rd. to reduce weaving and merging
- Add eastbound ramp lane on I-70 between I-270 and Brice Rd.
This project constitutes one of four phases to improve the I-70 corridor and interchanges between I-270 and Brice Road. This project's scope is outlined by Phase 1 (red) in the project rendering below. For additional information on additional work within the Far East Freeway corridor, please click here.
Construction costs displayed on this page are estimates, and construction timelines are dependent on project funding.
