Ohio's Rest Areas

Rest Areas are Open - Wash Your Hand Reminder! Our Rest Areas Are Open!

To reduce the risk of community spread of COVID-19, our state is asking that you to limit your travel, but for those who cannot, like truckers, our rest areas remain open. We're doing more frequent cleaning and sanitizing to combat the spread of COVID-19. We’ve also posted signs reminding visitors to wash their hands. #COVID19OhioReady

ODOT maintains rest areas along highways within our oversight. These rest areas are open to the traveling public and the trucking community as a safe place to take a break.

Please note that the Ohio Turnpike, variously I-80/I-90 and I-76 across northern Ohio, is independently operated and maintained by the Ohio Turnpike Commission, please visit their Turnpike Service Plazas page for details on their locations.
