TO: All Highway Construction Contractors Prequalified with ODOT

SUBJECT: Certification of Prequalification Extension
DATE: April 6, 2020
Due to the State of Emergency declared by Governor Mike DeWine and consistent with Executive Order 2020-01 D issued on March 9, 2020, Certificates of Prequalification will be granted an extension upon request.
Renewal applications for Certificates of Prequalification scheduled to expire during this period of emergency but not beyond December 1, 2020, and notwithstanding that date of scheduled expiration or any other provision of law to the contrary, shall be extended upon request to the sooner of either ninety days or December 1, 2020, with the ninety-day extension period commencing on that date of schedule expiration.
Please note, ODOT is still processing prequalification applications and processing them as normal while COVID-19 virus-related measures are in place. For those firms still wishing to complete their applications with financials from their accountant before the current expiration, feel free to do so. If you need an extension, please submit a request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be granted consistent with the direction of the Order.
