Highway noise impact assessment procedures, noise abatement procedures, coordination requirements and noise abatement criteria are based on Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations Part 772 and the latest revision of the Federal Highway Administration's Highway Traffic Noise Analysis and Abatement Guidance. This manual is applicable to both federally funded and 100% state funded projects.
